Wildpark Lüneburger Heide (2020)

Since last Wednesday the wildlife park Wildpark Lüneburger Heide near Nindorf close to Hamburg is once again open to visitors. Due to corona restrictions, visitors are currently required to wear masks in the entrance area and when ordering at the food stands and in the shops. Besides that, one appeals to common sense and does not interfere any further – at least that’s the way it is in the actual animal park; at the treetop path Heide Himmel there may be longer waiting times due to the current one-way street guideline, as the exit for many visitors has to be done via the lift at the look-out tower and the use is only allowed for groups belonging together. In general, the management of the park is truly exemplary in this respect. Visitors obviously enjoy the new-found normality, but if you are still afraid of Corona, you should rather postpone your visit during the week or skip it for the time being.
